I started boarding animals for a few different reasons. First, I have always loved animals and had a very special connection with them. Second, so many owners didn’t have great options when it comes to boarding their fur babies in not just a boarding location, but a home where you know your pet is being cared for just like one of the family and not just caged and left overnight alone. I have a pets myself and more than enough room to have dog friends over! Since my grandkids had already designated this as Nana’s Place I decided why not let it be Nana’s Place to the wonder animals in this world too!

Best of all, I get to play with and love on lots of different dogs and spoil them ! All of my furry customers are special to me. You get to know their little individual personalities. I have even had some of my older ones , that I loved dearly pass over the rainbow bridge. That’s the hard part of this job because you get attached to them but seeing them play and seeing how they get excited when they come to see me and their other friends (yes they remember and make friends!) makes it worth it !

They say if you do something you love you’ll never work a day in your life , Well this what I love and it’s the perfect job for me !
